The food is the freshest and the best in Southwest Florida, the dim sum is amazing! Get there before or by 11:00, or after 2:00 they do a tremendous amount of takeout so it gets very busy and it's very limited seating.
Great authentic Chinese food. Very friendly and family owned. It is a take out restaurant with only two tables available if you want to eat it there. Wish they can add a few more tables so that people can enjoy the food right out of the kitchen.
Having eaten at the original DJs, we were big fans. Just coming down here for the season we were thrilled that they opened up a location right on a Alico . We placed a large order of apps, soups, fried rice and various entrees over the phone for pickup. Upon arrival the place was clean and the woman at the counter who is the owner was super nice and friendly. The portions were large, fresh and delicious. We will be regular customers during the duration of our stay.
Without a doubt the best Asian style food I have found in this area. Likely better for takeout as there only a few areas to sit and eat. Extremely friendly service and great food. These owners formerly ran DJ's on Rt 41 but lost their lease and then took over a former Asian restaurant known as Tongs which I didn't care for. As far as ambience I would place on scale your typical Asian take out. Not fancy, just casual. I drive about 5 miles for takeout and pass by other places but it's worth the trip.
I am so glad they reopened. We always had a hard time finding Chinese food on the level of DJs. While the food is the main star, it really has to be pointed out how nice the owners are. At the sit down restaurant, we always loved the staff. They are still the same! They are accommodating with the food and order, it really makes a difference.
